Emily Kuhfeld
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
My name is Emily Kuhfeld. I am a licensed mental health counselor associate (LMHCA) originally from Indianapolis. I returned to Indiana in 2021 after a 12-year tenure as a collegiate golf coach. Subsequently, I pursued a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University and am currently a Sport and Performance Psychology Intern at Mooresville High School, working towards my Certified Mental Performance Consultant credential.
My professional practice involves working with individuals over the age of sixteen. I employ cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques to assist clients in achieving their objectives. I firmly believe in the significance of establishing and maintaining a supportive and professional therapeutic relationship with each client.
